This is a new Entry. Yay!

OK... I made it through the single mom week ok. Lee got home last night and commented on how extremly quiet Ohio was, as Tristan yelled at Chandler for looking at him wrong! Lee is taking the boys to a Bee's baseball game tonight and I think Ciera and I will hit a few more Parade of Homes. One thing that I am taking away from seeing all of the opulent homes, is that I am grateful I don't need stuff to make me happy or feel important. I look at these multi-million dollar homes and think "I am glad I do not have to maintain all of that stuff". I am just looking at all of the kitchens for idea for my kitchen. I take pictures of light switches, mop boards, gargbage disposal buttons, paint colors, flooring etc. Cheryl and I actually got lost in one house! Way too big.

Ciera gets home from girl's camp today!!! I can't wait to hear all about it. I will have her do a post about camp.

My Little Girl Off to Camp!

I fought back the tears as I dropped Ciera off this morning to go to girl's camp. I knew it was coming, and I am so happy for her......but man they grow up fast! She got her ears pierced for her birthday and started wearing makeup. I thought I was ready for all of this, but she is just breaking my heart.

Lee is in Dublin, Ohio for the week with work, so I am out a spouse and a babysitter. Life with three boys is hard with little backup. Chandler is helpful, but just not as capable as Ciera. I am taking the boys to the drive in movie tonight... we will see how that goes. I am actually hoping they all fall asleep before the first movie ends and I can come home early. Ha Ha... not very likely.

Ciera and her three cousins attended the Miley Cyrus/Blue Man Group concert at the Stadium of Fire at BYU for the 4th of July. We sat outside the stadium and watched the fireworks and waited for them to emerge from the crowd. Oddly enough, Ciera said that she liked the Blue Man Group better than Miley Cyrus! I guess she really is growing up!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July.

We are still alive!

You will all be happy to know that we are still alive. I am just having a hard time keeping up with all the new technology!

We have started ripping the house apart and that is taking all of our time. We have remodeled 5 rooms so far, and we are now undertaking the biggest project.... THE KITCHEN. It should be a fun summer. Lee is beyond excited... NOT!

I wanted to post some new pictures but if I cant figure it out Lee has put them out on a cool file drop site. These pics are located at www.drop.io\3371leep

Dont send out emergency personell, I will try to keep this more updated.

Joining the Blog Generation

Thank you to all who are sending me these links to these great blogs. I am so enjoying keeping up on everyones lives, that I thought I would start one for our family.

The Perry family had grown by one. Our newest edition is Jaxon Sheppard Perry. Jaxon was born November 20 at 2:16 p.m. He came into the world very calmly and is a very good baby. We all love him, execept Tristan, who would like the doctors to take him back to the hospital where he came from and quit stealing all of the attention.

Ciera and Chandler are in the middle of basketball season. They both enjoy the sport and are doing well. Ciera is still taking voice lessons and enjoys being with her friends. Chandler is working on getting his wolf in cub scouts and of course loves his computer games. Tristan is a typical three year old who thinks our world should revolve around him and is shocked and angered when it does not. He is learning the alphabet song and can sing Twinkle, Twinkle, almost word for word. Jaxon has just discovered his hand the last couple of days. He spends long periods of time being mesmorized by the way it moves. Lee is, of course, busy at work and we hardly see him right now. He is still working for Taxworks. Taxworks was bought by H&R Block last year. They have been implementing many new processes and taking Lee away for up to 100 hours a week.

My heart is tender at the loss of our Prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley. For those of you that are interested, there is a web site called "Hinckleychallange.com" People are organizing to read the Book of Mormon in 97 days to honor President Hinckley. It started today. You need to read 5.4 pages a day and will finish on May 11. What a great way to honor this great man and follow his council.

I am posting pictures of the front of our house taken moments ago. I was out shoveling, and decided that taking pictures would me much more fun. The snow just keeps coming and we keep shoveling. The mailman keeps putting diagrams in our mailbox explaining that we need to remove the snow in front of our mailbox...but really! They can keep my mail until spring... but I am not tackling that mountain! I thought the motto was to deliver the mail through rain, sleat and hail...now they can't even get out of the car!
